I just had the strangest phone conversation... There was this strange chuckling, followed by the words, "I'm a complete idiot, good evening," and then they erupted into laughter. Then, just like that, they hung up on me. I reckon it was just someone checking if the number was live, possibly for dodgy spam calls later on or something along those lines.
