When I picked up the phone to this unsolicited call, there was nothing but silence on the other end. I ended up repeating 'hello' several times, yet the caller just wouldn't respond. All I could make out was a faint murmur of voices in the distance. I decided it was best to block this nuisance right away!

Got a call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse offering some crazy deal on the iPhone 13. When I asked how they got my number, the line just went dead. Definitely sounded like a scam or some telemarketer nonsense.
