Last evening, I received a call from a woman purporting to represent Carphone Warehouse. I suspect it might have been a scam, as she was quite insistent about me signing up for a contract and handing over my credit card details to unlock a so-called discount.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been receiving calls from 020 numbers. Today alone, I've already had three of them. Every time I block one, another one comes through and they just ring for about 15 seconds before cutting off. It's really annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Barclays, but when I asked why they were ringing me, they just went quiet. Then they started asking for my address and name, which seemed dodgy. Nope, blocked the number straight away.
