I received a call purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, presenting an offer for a mobile phone with an initial £49 fee. However, upon proceeding, it turned out that I never received the phone at all. Instead, they managed to misuse my personal information, siphoning funds directly from my account and establishing some Vodafone account without my consent, leaving me inundated with unexpected bills. Quite the scandal, I must say!
