As soon as I said a word, I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent, and there was this annoying long pause before they spoke. Claimed they were ringing from Currys PC World offering a 30% off deal. I pretended to be interested for a few minutes. Then they mentioned that I’d have to make monthly payments for a laptop I apparently wanted. I asked if it was possible to pay all at once, and suddenly someone else came on the line, saying he was a manager. He insisted I had to give a £49 deposit and that my laptop would be delivered soon after. I just ended the call right there.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Dave Parker from Carphone Warehouse. He said I could check his details and that he’s legit, works for WH and isn’t a scammer or anything. Didn’t buy it though, so I just hung up straight away.

This number has been ringing me quite a bit, usually around the evening time. Whenever I pick up, all I catch is strange whispering or some odd laughter, which is pretty unsettling. I’m definitely planning to block it soon.

Got a caller claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, sounded Indian. This is the fifth time they’ve rung me, each time from a number that’s a bit different. I keep blacklisting them but they keep coming back. Told them to take me off their list and quit calling, and then they just cut me off. Honestly, just stop bothering me!
