Quite nice about it, but I wasn’t interested.5 yearsI got a call from a bloke about renewing my washing machine insurance. When I asked who he was with, he mentioned D & G, so I went along with it and gave him my bank details. Later, a woman rang me back to run through the legal side of things. That’s when I realised she said the company wasn’t connected to D & G at all. I stopped her straight away, told her I felt misled, and asked her to cancel the contract. She agreed and said she’d sort it out. Fingers crossed they don’t try to take money from my account - I’ve already alerted my bank to block any payments.
