So this person said they were from British Telecom and promised to stop all unwanted calls if I paid £3 a month for 5 years, then it would be free after that. They asked for my bank details beginning with 8 - to set it up. Definitely do NOT share your banking info with random callers, even if they sound legit. Always ask for proof or documentation before giving anything out!
