Didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the number, but I did leave a voicemail anyway.

I didn't pick up since it was a strange number. As soon as the answerphone kicked in, the call got cut off. Seems like it was one of those scams.

On the 1st of May, just after 4 in the afternoon, I got a call from someone I didn’t recognise. This individual actually knew my name and inquired whether my washing machine was in need of any fixes. I responded in the affirmative but requested he properly introduced himself. Unfortunately, his name came out as a complete mumble-I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. After I pressed him once more to clarify who he was, he abruptly ended the call. Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if he was linked to some sort of scam operation, as I could definitely hear other voices chattering away in the background.

I wasn't familiar with the number, so I chose not to pick up. When the voicemail kicked in, the caller promptly disconnected. It seems likely to be a scam.

I received a rather concerning call this afternoon at around 5 o'clock regarding the impending expiration of my washing machine warranty. The caller asked for my bank details, which I promptly refused to provide. When I inquired about their identity, they claimed to be from White Goods Protection. I said I would get in touch with them directly, but just as I was about to hang up, the call abruptly cut out. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
