They mentioned someone had been attempting to use my card in Liverpool, which is a bit rich as I'm based in Nottingham! What really raised my suspicions was how he had the last four digits of my card, which made the whole situation feel even more unsettling. He nearly swindled me out of more than four thousand pounds if I'd just “agreed to the refund”. Fortunately, I took the wise step of contacting Lloyds directly and discovered this bloke was nothing more than a con artist.
