Got a call from someone pretending to be from EE. As soon as I said it was a scam, they kept insisting it wasn’t and warned me my services would get cut off if I didn’t listen. I kept telling them it was a con, probably about 10 times, and then they suddenly said my phone was disconnected permanently. Funny thing is, my phone’s still working fine!

Definitely sounded like a call centre with all that background buzz. The person started with a quick hello and called me “ma’am”. I replied, “Sorry, who’s this?” and then they just ended the call.
