Earlier today, I got a call from 01256404869, and it was some robotic voice with an American accent pretending to be from the HMRC. The message sounded the same as others I’ve heard before, but I stayed on the line longer this time. They went on about an arrest warrant related to some case against me. I’m quite sure this is all made up nonsense because if it were real, HMRC absolutely wouldn’t reach out like that.
