Apologies for the mix-up, everyone. The correct number for Feltham Magistrates’ Court is 0208 914 3400, not what I previously mentioned. The actual contact for Ruthbridge Limited, the debt collection agency, is 0208 914 4300. I received a call from someone wanting to chat about a certain individual; however, they were rather reluctant to share their identity, which struck me as suspect. These outfits are notorious for employing intimidation tactics. Don’t be fooled into paying them - they acquire debts from the original creditor, essentially banking on the fear they instil to recoup what they are owed through harassing calls and threatening letters. They’re merely third-party operators trying their luck. If you find yourself under pressure from these cowboys, it’s advisable to reach out to the bank or the financial institution where the original debt resides. You might be able to negotiate a settlement or arrange a payment plan that could offer you a reduced amount if you clear the debt in full. Just remember, steer clear of these dubious collection agencies.

Collection agents are impossible to get hold of! They simply don’t pick up!

Received a call from this number, but the message was rather muddled, just mentioning 'my reference'. It’s probably yet another one of those pesky PPI scams, unfortunately. :(

There's no need to settle a debt that's beyond the statute of limitations, yet you persist in harassing me with daily calls. If this is your idea of persistence, you're wasting your time and money. I’ll be seeing you soon. Absolute nonsense!

Since I switched to a new contract, I have been receiving numerous messages from unknown senders urging me to call them. However, due to the prevalence of scams, I refrain from dialing unfamiliar numbers. If the previous owner of this number is the target of the company's search, it would be more appropriate for them to send a letter to the last known address instead of relying on the assumption that the intended person will be using a specific mobile number. This situation is becoming quite infuriating!

I’ve had some unpleasant dealings with 0208 917 3400, which belongs to Ruthbridge Limited, a firm that specialises in chasing debts. My advice? Steer clear of making any payments to them. They’re just a third-party operation and do not have the authority to demand payment unless it goes through the courts, which only the original debtor can initiate. Essentially, they’ve merely acquired this debt from the original creditor and have no genuine claim to it.

If you're getting a call from this lot, it’s worth noting that there's likely some outstanding debt at play. They aren’t scammers; they're legitimate debt collectors. Prior to ringing you, they usually send out letters urging you to get in touch regarding what you owe. The simplest solution? Settle your debts, and those calls will cease. If you choose to ignore your bills, expect the calls to keep coming. Engaging with debt collectors to arrange a payment plan is a far more sensible approach than dodging them. Owning up to your financial responsibilities is a matter of integrity. Those who evade their obligations and then moan about phone calls really aren't playing fair. I’m absolutely fed up with the constant complaints from folks who refuse to pay their debts yet act as if they are the victims. It's often the same crowd that’s truly being deceitful.

Here’s the kicker. Indeed, this number belongs to Ruthbridge LTD, a debt recovery firm notorious for their rather unsavoury practices when it comes to chasing after debts, especially those that are well beyond the six-year statute of limitations. If you fancy a gander at their reference link to the Credit Services Association down below, brace yourself for a delightful 404 error. Just have a look: http://www.csa-uk.com/frequently-asked-questions Interestingly, this number also matches that of another business not too far away in Twickenham, Snell & Wilcox. Check it out here: http://businessnetwork.co.uk/business-directory/twickenham/snell-and-wilcox-ltd It’s rather peculiar that they seem to be operating two distinct enterprises using the same phone line. I’ve got a feeling something dodgy is afoot. I don’t owe a single penny to anyone, and should they decide to bombard me with another letter or ring me up, I won't hesitate to involve the authorities and my legal counsel for fraud and harassment. My suspicion is that “OWES MONEY TO SOMEONE” is merely a front for these crooks-just ignore them, ignore them, and keep on ignoring-ACTION TIME!

I keep receiving calls from an unknown number, but whenever I pick up, it immediately goes to voicemail. It's becoming quite irritating as I have no clue who is trying to contact me. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

"ComingToGetYou" can shove it! I've got no debts whatsoever, yet here I am, getting calls from you lot because some bloke who lived here six bloody years ago supposedly owes you money. Is it really your idea of good practice to ring me up and then hang up? And when folks raise a fuss, your response is just, “Oh, anyone in receipt of our calls must have outstanding debts.” Seriously, you lot need to take a long, hard look in the mirror. Do the world a favour and keep your nonsense to yourselves. How about you stop intruding on decent folks’ lives for a debt that’s practically ancient history? Sort yourselves out!

I have been receiving daily calls from this particular number for the past month. It is causing frustration, especially because when I did answer their call, I couldn't comprehend anything they were saying. As a result, I still have no clue about their intentions or purpose for contacting me. To alleviate this issue, I have decided to block the number.

I recently switched my phone number due to persistent nuisance calls at home. However, the very next day, I received a call from a number asking for a woman's name that is not affiliated with my house. I clarified that they had dialed the wrong number and that no one by that name lived here. Then, the individual on the other end asked if he could ask me some questions. I promptly responded that he was not authorized to do so and ended the call. To my dismay, this particular number has called my house once again. After searching the number on Google, I discovered that it belongs to Tutridge. It seems that they might have unintentionally gotten a client with a similar number to my new one and are persistently harassing me. I am determined to file a report against this company.

I have been receiving repeated calls from a certain number, with messages prompting me to call them back. However, I haven't returned any of these calls.
This morning, I answered a call and it was a woman asking for someone who doesn't reside here. She provided an address in a different town and asked if it was mine, showing her lack of knowledge regarding dialling codes!
When I inquired about her identity and the nature of the company she represented, she became irritable and refused to disclose any information other than being related to finance. When I asked if they were debt collectors, she declined to confirm.
She mentioned that she would remove my number from their contact list, but only time will tell if she actually follows through with that.

I've been receiving calls from an unknown number and they even left a voicemail saying "121". After reading the above, I decided not to answer but knew they would keep calling persistently. The voicemail instructed me to press "1" which I ignored and promptly ended the call. I have now added this number to my phone's reject list. I have no clue as to why they are calling me.

I have received around 10 phone calls from this particular number in the past 48 hours. It's important to note that I've only shared my new mobile number with my close family and friends. When I attempted to return the call, nobody answered. I have now blocked this number after discovering that it belongs to debt collectors.

After receiving a call, I was greeted with a garbled recorded message. Unfortunately, the beginning of the message was cut off, most likely to inform me about the reverse charge for the call. The message asked me to press a key to accept the call, but since I didn't know which key to press, I simply hung up. I find it puzzling how they managed to obtain my number, as I have only been using it for a couple of weeks. To be safe, I have decided to remove my number from my Gumtree advertisement and thoroughly check my social media accounts. Though I am usually cautious with sharing my phone number, it seems unlikely that either of these avenues could be the source of the call. Furthermore, I do not owe any money to anyone, so their intentions must be malicious.

Located above a Costa Coffee shop in the Wimbledon area of London, this particular company is known as a rather grim debt collection agency. They have the habit of making constant phone calls, but as soon as someone picks up, they abruptly end the call.

It is quite bothersome and slightly alarming for my children when our phone rings multiple times, and nobody speaks when a family member answers it. We have previously experienced harassment from cold callers, so this situation needs to be resolved and put to an end.

Today, I received a call from a number that I discovered belongs to a debt collection agency called Ruthbridge. It's quite baffling as to why they would be contacting me since I have been living abroad for the past 10 years and have absolutely no debts. I recently relocated to a new apartment where my phone number is listed as private and I am also registered with TPS (Telephone Preference Service). It seems like this might be some sort of bullying scam where they are attempting to associate me with someone else's problem. Interestingly enough, I haven't even received any threatening letters, not that I should be getting any considering I don't have any outstanding credit agreements. This whole situation appears to be a shady scam targeting unsuspecting individuals. I'm genuinely curious about how they managed to get hold of my number.
