Apologies for the mix-up, everyone. The correct number for Feltham Magistrates’ Court is 0208 914 3400, not what I previously mentioned. The actual contact for Ruthbridge Limited, the debt collection agency, is 0208 914 4300. I received a call from someone wanting to chat about a certain individual; however, they were rather reluctant to share their identity, which struck me as suspect. These outfits are notorious for employing intimidation tactics. Don’t be fooled into paying them - they acquire debts from the original creditor, essentially banking on the fear they instil to recoup what they are owed through harassing calls and threatening letters. They’re merely third-party operators trying their luck. If you find yourself under pressure from these cowboys, it’s advisable to reach out to the bank or the financial institution where the original debt resides. You might be able to negotiate a settlement or arrange a payment plan that could offer you a reduced amount if you clear the debt in full. Just remember, steer clear of these dubious collection agencies.

Collection agents are impossible to get hold of! They simply don’t pick up!

Received a call from this number, but the message was rather muddled, just mentioning 'my reference'. It’s probably yet another one of those pesky PPI scams, unfortunately. :(

There's no need to settle a debt that's beyond the statute of limitations, yet you persist in harassing me with daily calls. If this is your idea of persistence, you're wasting your time and money. I’ll be seeing you soon. Absolute nonsense!

I got a fresh phone number on a new plan recently, and ever since, I've been getting loads of texts from this number asking me to ring them back. I never ring unfamiliar numbers because there’s so many scams going around these days. If this number belonged to someone else before, the company looking for them should really be sending letters to their old address, rather than just relying on catching them on some random mobile phone. It’s so annoying!!!!

I’ve had some unpleasant dealings with 0208 917 3400, which belongs to Ruthbridge Limited, a firm that specialises in chasing debts. My advice? Steer clear of making any payments to them. They’re just a third-party operation and do not have the authority to demand payment unless it goes through the courts, which only the original debtor can initiate. Essentially, they’ve merely acquired this debt from the original creditor and have no genuine claim to it.

If you're getting a call from this lot, it’s worth noting that there's likely some outstanding debt at play. They aren’t scammers; they're legitimate debt collectors. Prior to ringing you, they usually send out letters urging you to get in touch regarding what you owe. The simplest solution? Settle your debts, and those calls will cease. If you choose to ignore your bills, expect the calls to keep coming. Engaging with debt collectors to arrange a payment plan is a far more sensible approach than dodging them. Owning up to your financial responsibilities is a matter of integrity. Those who evade their obligations and then moan about phone calls really aren't playing fair. I’m absolutely fed up with the constant complaints from folks who refuse to pay their debts yet act as if they are the victims. It's often the same crowd that’s truly being deceitful.

Here’s the kicker. Indeed, this number belongs to Ruthbridge LTD, a debt recovery firm notorious for their rather unsavoury practices when it comes to chasing after debts, especially those that are well beyond the six-year statute of limitations. If you fancy a gander at their reference link to the Credit Services Association down below, brace yourself for a delightful 404 error. Just have a look: http://www.csa-uk.com/frequently-asked-questions Interestingly, this number also matches that of another business not too far away in Twickenham, Snell & Wilcox. Check it out here: http://businessnetwork.co.uk/business-directory/twickenham/snell-and-wilcox-ltd It’s rather peculiar that they seem to be operating two distinct enterprises using the same phone line. I’ve got a feeling something dodgy is afoot. I don’t owe a single penny to anyone, and should they decide to bombard me with another letter or ring me up, I won't hesitate to involve the authorities and my legal counsel for fraud and harassment. My suspicion is that “OWES MONEY TO SOMEONE” is merely a front for these crooks-just ignore them, ignore them, and keep on ignoring-ACTION TIME!

I keep getting calls from this number, but every time I pick up, it just switches over to voicemail. No clue who's behind it and it's really annoying me now. Cheers.

"ComingToGetYou" can shove it! I've got no debts whatsoever, yet here I am, getting calls from you lot because some bloke who lived here six bloody years ago supposedly owes you money. Is it really your idea of good practice to ring me up and then hang up? And when folks raise a fuss, your response is just, “Oh, anyone in receipt of our calls must have outstanding debts.” Seriously, you lot need to take a long, hard look in the mirror. Do the world a favour and keep your nonsense to yourselves. How about you stop intruding on decent folks’ lives for a debt that’s practically ancient history? Sort yourselves out!

I get like four calls every day, and they always leave a voicemail about solar panels and insulation or something like that. It's really annoying.

This number has been ringin me nonstop every day for like a whole month now. Its driving me crazy! I finally picked up once, but the person was so hard to understand I had no clue what they were sayin. Don’t really know what they want, but I’m gonna block it now.

About a fortnight ago, I decided to switch my phone number due to a load of annoying calls. Then, just the day after getting my new number, I got a call from this exact number asking for some lady I’ve never heard of. I told them they had the wrong number and there’s no one by that name here. When I asked if I could ask a few questions, the caller said yes…but I just told them no and ended the call. Now this number has rung me up again. I looked it up on Google and it’s linked to Tutridge. Looks like they must have a client with a number very similar to mine and keep pestering me. Honestly, I’m thinking about reporting this company.

This number has called me several times and left voicemails asking me to call back, which I haven’t bothered to do. Earlier today I picked up and it was a woman on the line, asking for someone who doesn’t even live here. She told me an address in a completely different town and then wanted to check if that was mine - clearly she’s got no clue about area codes! When I pressed her for who she represented, she got a bit rude and refused to explain what their company actually does, just vaguely mentioned something about finances. I asked if they were debt collectors but she dodged the question. She promised to remove my number from their list - guessing I’ll find out if she actually does.

I've had this number ringing me non-stop and I have no clue who they are. Today they left a voicemail saying something about pressing option 1. After seeing the comments here, I didn't want to pick up but it just kept buzzing, so I listened and then quickly hung up. I've now blocked the number on my phone. Still have no idea what they want or why they're bothering me!

Over the past couple of days, I've had about 10 calls from this number. I just got a new phone number and only shared it with a few close friends and family. When I tried to call them back, nobody picked up. Turns out it’s debt collectors, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

When I picked up the phone, I got this jumbled recorded voice that seemed to miss the start of the message - probably telling me there’d be a reverse charge if I stayed on. It then said something about pressing a key to accept the call, but I had no clue which one and just ended the call. I’ve only had this number a few weeks, so I’m stumped how they got hold of it. I’m gonna take it off my Gumtree ad and have a look through my socials just to be safe. I’m pretty cautious with my numbers, so I doubt that’s how they got it. I’m sure I don’t owe them anything, so it smells like a dodgy trick to me.

There’s this debt collection firm around Wimbledon, near that Costa coffee spot, who keep ringing me non-stop. Every time I pick up, they just click off without saying a word. Proper frustrating behaviour!

We keep getting calls that ring over and over, but when someone in my house picks up, there’s no one on the other end. It’s really irritating, and my kids find it quite scary since we've had trouble with cold callers before. Honestly, this needs to be put to an end.

Got a call from this number earlier, turns out it's some debt collectors going by Ruthbridge. Doesn't make sense since I've been abroad for a decade, plus I don't owe anyone a penny. Just shifted into a new flat, and my phone number's unlisted and signed up with the TPS. Feels like some dodgy scam trying to dump someone else's debts on me. Never even received any threatening letters or anything, which is expected since I’m debt-free. Definitely smells like a scam to me. Wonder how on earth they got hold of my number in the first place.
