I keep gettin calls from numbers that look almost the same as this one but with just one digit different. Even tho I block em, the calls just don’t stop. Seems pretty sneaky, probably a scam, so watch out for these!

Someone claiming to be Kayleigh from Cover Group UK called me saying my washing machine warranty was up for renewal after 10 years. She said the new price was cheaper and that they’d provide a free replacement if my machine failed. Then she asked for my sort code. Thing is, my washing machine is way older than 10 years, about 15, and I never had any cover with them. Plus, she didn’t give me any contact number to ring back. Pretty obvious scam just to steal your cash.

On 09/10/20 at about 1:07pm, this number 02089167928 popped up from London. Caller was unrecognised and I heard whispering before they hung up whilst I was screening the call. Definitely another reason why True Call call blocker is worth having!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from “Cover Group UK” about insurance. They were really brusque and quite rude on the phone. Felt like a scam to me.

this number phoned me two times today. like others mentioned before, they asked if I had insurance for my washing machine. I told them I don’t and said it sounded like a scam to me. calls came through at 10:45 in the morning and then again at 4:38 pm. I’m seriously thinking of blocking it now.

Got a call from someone claiming I had insurance with them for my washing machine and that they needed to update my info. As soon as I said I’d never heard of their company, they just ended the call.

He tried to sell me insurance for my washing machine, but as soon as I showed I wasn't fooled, he quickly backed off.
