Quite baffling, really!Carphone WarehouseThree5 yearsI had a rather unsettling encounter with someone claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse, all in the spirit of Christmas and promoting some so-called 'fantastic offers.' When I asked how they acquired my details, they nonchalantly mentioned they were reaching out on behalf of my mobile provider. Honestly, it's hard to believe my network would hand over my personal number to a rival just so they can peddle their wares. It makes no sense! When I pressed them about the GDPR regulations and requested the removal of my information, they insisted they didn't possess my data. However, if they're ringing me, it’s crystal clear they have my number and are clearly processing it for their marketing outreach. Their argument seemed to hinge on the fact that I'm supposedly a customer, but I had to politely inform them that I certainly am not.
