Oh, it's that lot once more! Everything seems to revolve around your computer these days. They kept pestering me for a good 20 minutes, incessantly ringing during that period. In the end, I decided enough was enough and lodged a complaint with the ICO.

Received a call at 13:55 on July 20th, 2013. A man with a notably strong Asian accent introduced himself as Sean. Not convinced, to say the least. His accent wasn’t reminiscent of a typical Irish lilt, which made deciphering his message quite the challenge. It took numerous attempts before we finally got on the same wavelength, particularly since his grasp of English seemed to falter when it came to the word “verification.” Once we untangled the miscommunication and he pronounced things correctly, he claimed to be calling on behalf of Microsoft regarding a verification (enunciated with great care) matter. I shot back with, “This is absolute nonsense, and you lot are nothing but scammers. Remove my details from your records, and if this ever happens again, I’ll be reporting you to the authorities.” Then I hung up on him.
