Somebody rang saying they were from O2 and asked for my email address. Then they started telling me I had to get a new SIM card. I checked the official O2 website myself and couldn’t find anything about needing a new SIM. Felt fishy to me.

I think this call might actually be from EE, as the lady on the phone was very polite and trying to sell me a phone deal. The problem was, her accent made it really hard to catch what she was saying. She had to repeat herself several times before I could figure out what she wanted. She sounded like she might be from India or Malaysia, but she wasn’t rude at all. When she asked for my email, I said no because I had no clue who she really was. In the end, I told her I wasn’t interested in the deal.
