They keep calling saying they're with Claims Advisory Service, pressing me for personal details and promising they'll call back the next day to tell me how much compensation the Government will send for bank charges from the past two decades. Each time they ring, it's the same story - asking for info and insisting I'll get an update the following day. They mention sending a cheque to my home and even read out my address before asking for my date of birth. Sadly, this info is pretty easy to find on places like ancestry websites now. I'm curious to see what they come up with next time. They often hide their number or show as 'number unavailable'. Tried blocking them, but they've got so many different numbers from all over the country that my phone's block list is full.
