I received a call from someone identifying themselves as Alex Brown, speaking with an Asian accent and claiming to be from the 'Claims Department'. I kindly asked him to take my number off their list, only for him to respond with a rather rude "f*** off" before abruptly ending the call. Quite the unpleasant experience!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone who seemed to be quite familiar with my personal details, including my name and address. This individual claimed to represent a government agency that was apparently set to issue me a cheque due to some supposed financial discrepancies I was unaware of. They then insisted on verifying my date of birth as a security measure before going any further. I found this all a bit dodgy, to say the least, so I told them to properly send out the information via post, since they already had my contact details. Unsurprisingly, that was the moment they abruptly hung up.

Received a call from this number earlier today. Noticed the caller had an Indian accent yet introduced themselves with a British name. I attempted to return the call, but it was perpetually busy.

My wife picked up the phone to a woman who requested to speak with Mrs. Grey. Upon being informed that no one by that name resides at our address, the caller rudely told her to shove off before abruptly hanging up. The caller had an Afro-Caribbean accent, which was quite distinctive.

I reached for the phone just before it stopped ringing, but there was no message left behind. Quite odd, really.

Received an unwanted call today. The caller wanted to chat with my wife, but she was unavailable at the time. They promptly ended the call after that. Just another annoyance, really!

I received a rather peculiar message from an individual claiming to be my dad.

I received a rather peculiar phone call today from someone claiming to be "Harry Bill," who insisted he was representing a government service. He stated that I was owed £2000 from within the last two decades, and that a senior official would be reaching out to me tomorrow to arrange the dispatch of a cheque. They provided me with a reference number which supposedly I would need to have to get my cheque approved. Surprisingly, they seemed to have my name, address, and even my date of birth. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
