Some folks called claiming to be from 'windows support' and said my laptop was being hacked. They insisted I power it on so they could guide me through fixing it. I felt a bit iffy about it and suggested they speak to my husband instead, since he’s proper clued up with tech stuff. Oddly, they refused and said they could only chat with me! So yeah, I just ended the call.
