got a call sayin they were from eon next and needed to send an engineer over - but im not even with them. looked up the number and it turned out to be a restaurant in london? definitely a dodgy scam call.

Over the past few days, I’ve had this number ringing my dental office nonstop. When my team picks up, the caller says they’re from British Gas and insists an engineer has to come out because there’s a problem with our meter. Thing is, we’re not even customers of British Gas for our electricity or gas. They just keep ringing and won’t take no for an answer.
