I received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming to be a BT technician, insisting that there were issues with my line speed that needed addressing. He cleverly tried to guide me into turning on my laptop, asking about the type of equipment I utilise for internet access. I decided to play along for a while, but eventually, I caught on to his ruse and confronted him, informing him that I would verify his credentials with BT directly. At that point, he abruptly hung up. Quite the dodgy business!
