I’ve had calls like this one once or twice, these people tell me my IP is getting hacked. When I asked them what my IP address actually was, they couldn’t tell me. I know it anyway. Most of the time, the caller sounds like they have an Asian accent.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from BT and already had my dob and other personal info. He said he was with BT tech support and that there was some sort of network issue stopping my system from working properly. They asked me to log onto my laptop but I refused and ended the call. Afterwards, I couldn’t get into my emails or the BT app at all. They phoned me again this morning. Honestly, don’t get involved with these calls and make sure to report them to the trading standards or citizens advice who’ll pass it on.
