Got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be BT, saying there were some issues with my internet that suggested unauthorised activity. They sent a PIN to my mobile (which I don’t get how they had) and the text seemed to come from BT’s typical number. I checked with BT through their online chat, and they said there were no problems, didn’t recognise the number, and had no record of them trying to get in touch. Not sure if it was legit or a scam, but I’m just going to ignore it now.
