I've been getting calls from this number for a while, but lately, the amount has really gone up a lot. What's really creepy is that some of the callers seem to know a bit of my personal info. I've signed up with all the official do-not-call lists meant to block this kind of thing, but obviously they don't work. Even with different call-blocking apps, these callers just keep switching numbers and finding new ways to pester me. It's getting pretty frustrating.

I've been getting calls at all hours from an Asian woman claiming to be from Talktalk, saying there's an issue with my computer. I've made it quite clear to her to stop calling, or I'd have to report the number. Still, the calls keep coming.

Got a call from an Asian woman on 0810 who claimed to be from my broadband company. I cut her off pretty quick, saying we don’t have any kind of computer at home. She tried to say I must have a laptop, but I told her laptops are pure trouble and we absolutely don’t keep any around here. She got a bit thrown off, stumbled over what she was saying, then just ended the call. Note to self: use this one again if someone rings in future.

Got a call early this morning at about 8:15 from a fella claiming to be from TalkTalk about our internet. He kept saying he spoke to my hubby, which baffled me. I asked him for a phone number to ring back, but he said he was just a service engineer and couldn't provide one. I arranged a time for him to call again. Curious to see what comes of it since we don’t even have TalkTalk!

Since the 21st of September, this number has been calling me every single day. I tried calling it back but it says the number isn’t recognised. Quite annoying really!

Got a call from some guy saying he was with Talk Talk. He reckoned we might be having internet issues and joked that we might not afford a new router (bit cheeky if you ask me). I told him to hang on a sec while I looked into it, but after about 15 seconds on hold, they just hung up. Just another spam call messing about with my time.

Around 1pm, I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from TalkTalk. I immediately told her it was a scam and didn’t believe a word she said. She tried to convince me by offering to share personal info to prove her identity, but I wasn’t having it and just hung up straight away.

Had loads of missed calls all week from the same number, finally picked up today. The woman claimed to be from "Talk Talk." I told her to just send me an email to prove who she was and then ended the call. She was bold enough to ring back saying she already had my info. I made it clear, not to call us anymore, no way! Feels like they’re trying to get remote access or my card info, don’t trust them at all.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, claiming his name was Alan Johnson and he was ringing from Talk Talk. He told me there were some attempts to access my internet from different IP addresses and asked if I could switch on my PC so they could check it out. I just said, "No chance," and ended the call. This isn’t the first time either... you'd think they'd realise it’s not worth pestering anymore!

Today at 11 o’clock, this number rang my home phone but I didn’t pick up, so it just went to voicemail with no message left. After reading the other comments here, it’s clear this is some sort of scam call trying to get into your computer and steal personal info.

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who said he was Ben from TalkTalk, and he even used my name. He told me there was some kind of issue with my internet inside their system. I just hung up straight away.

This number rang me up around lunch time today. The bloke on the line had an Indian accent and claimed he was an engineer from Talk Talk. He then asked if I used a laptop or a computer for the internet. When I asked what for, he said my laptop was infected with malware and he could fix it. I told him to call back later and immediately contacted Talk Talk myself. They told me it was a scam and no genuine engineer would ever ring out of the blue like that. I've blocked the number and reported it now.

Got a call from some Asian guy claiming he was Peter from TalkTalk. He wanted to talk to xxxxx and repeated my last name but didn’t bother being polite or giving any real details. So, this call said it was from TalkTalk. They had us chatting for like an hour, then suddenly they put a big refund in my bank. After that, they said it was an accident! This morning just as 9 o’clock struck, my phone rang with one of these unwanted calls again. Thank goodness I’ve got a way to block them! Seriously, when will all this nonsense stop? It’s getting ridiculous, especially for people who might be expecting really important calls from places like hospitals or the police. I got a call saying TalkTalk was supposedly taking control of my account from Virgin and they needed me to let them access my computer remotely to sort things out. Seemed dodgy right away, like a scam to sneak into your PC and steal personal info or passwords. Definitely didn’t fall for it.

On 24th September, I got a call from a lady speaking with a really heavy Indian accent. She said she was with TalkTalk and started by asking how I was doing. I told her my internet isn’t through TalkTalk and then just ended the call.

this number called me but i didnt pick up, my answering machine starts after 2 rings so no message left. when i tried to call back it said number not in service. its a pity, i really enjoy messing about with those callers, driving them crazy! makes me laugh telling them i’m the gardener, cleaner or window washer - just to keep them hanging on and make them waste their time! they probably regret ever calling me!
