10 yearsGot a call this morning two times saying there was something wrong with my internet. Quite annoying really.10 yearsI got a really polite bloke callin’ me one day and then a really polite lady ringin’ the next. Both kept at it, quite persistent. They said they were from TalkTalk and claimed my internet had loads of issues. Thing is, it hadn’t! The second time, I just played along to see what they’d say next. They knew my address, postcode and name - but it was my old surname! When I questioned them how they knew wrong info or my email, they had some fancy explanations. Then they asked for my computer details... no chance! I ended up telling TalkTalk about the number.TalkTalk10 yearsGot a call around 8 in the morning, they wanted to speak to either Mr or Mrs because the Talk Talk account was under Mrs’s name. I heard the whole spiel from this Indian guy, then straight away told him he was running a scam and I’d be reporting it to the cops. He just said “ok” like that was it. So, guess he was legit? Proper pushy bloke too, kept insisting he was from Talk Talk. Ended up just hanging up on him.10 yearsSomeone called me, said they were from my internet provider, telling me my computer was infected with loads of viruses.10 yearsFor the past week I've been getting calls from this number pretty much every day. They never bother to leave a voicemail, so I reckon it’s best to just give it a miss and not pick up.10 yearshey, ive had loads of calls from these lot claiming theres an issue with my internet. i play along for a bit but stop when they try to get my personal info. the broadband account is under my missus's name so i dont get why they keep ringing me really?10 yearsWatch out! They ask you to put stuff into your computer so they can take over it and "demonstrate the issue" or something like that... They’ve got nothing to do with any real service company... Totally a scam.Submit Your Own Report (20888789888)
