This number rang me several times today. When I picked up, some guy said it was about my Sky Broadband, which is odd because I’m actually with Vodafone. The bloke sounded really dodgy and then started swearing at me, called me a Motherf****r, and just cut off. I'd steer clear of this one and definitely block it - total scam for sure.

Got a call from 020 8659 4477 saying I’m involved in some fraud and that they’re gonna check my bank details. The thing is, I’m a minor and don’t even have a bank account. Felt totally fake to me.

There was a pause before the caller attempted to say my name, but got it totally wrong. Then they launched into some spiel about warranty coverage for my household gadgets.

This number keeps ringing me like 4 or 5 times everyday but when I pick up no one is there. Dont know if its one of those dodgy scams where they charge you a fortune just for answering! Ive blocked the number now and gonna keep an eye on my phone bill so they dont nick any dosh from me.

The caller actually said both mine and my partner’s names, which was a bit creepy. I just ended the call straight away. We've also signed up for the Telephone Preference Service, so annoying!

got a call from someone who already had my name, address and postcode. they asked how old I was, i told them over 80 and right after that they just said thanks and ended the call. now i’m on a blacklist or something.

He claimed to be an electrician and said he’d be around my place next week, asking if there was anything I needed fixing. When I asked him for my address, he just fell quiet. So dodgy.
