Was awoken by the call, guess I needed the nudge. Then they just ended it on me, not great.

Had a call from a guy who sounded Indian. I said thanks for ringing and told him I was fine. Then I asked if he was coping okay with the lockdown. Before I could say much else, he just dropped the call. Pretty sure it was one of those dodgy scam calls.

Got a call from 02088679163 back on 1/3/21, someone saying they'd be "upgrading" my nuisance call blocking service - which I never even signed up for. They asked for my bank card details to confirm it was me. I told them I banked with Barclays (which I don’t) and they said that was the account linked to the service. I kept them talking for about half an hour, then said I needed to go and would ring back - guess what, they called me again! I messed around some more, gave them fake card info, and eventually they hung up. Still curious what this scam was trying to pull off.

He told me he was from Call Guardian and promised the annoying calls would stop starting the next day, but when I asked what it was about, he just hung up on me!

Got a call earlier and answered it, but the person just said something like "hello" and I couldn't make out what they were saying. So I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

He told me he had three questions to go through and then said if I didn’t answer him, he’d lose his job. Quite a weird way to start a chat.
