I received a rather odd call today, featuring a robotic voice stating there was some peculiar activity linked to my bank, regarding Amazon transactions and international money moves. It prompted me to hit 1 for confirmation or 2 to chat with a representative. Just out of curiosity, I decided to call the number back from another phone about ten minutes later, but the line didn’t connect at all and the call cut off immediately. I’m convinced it’s a dodgy scam trying to reel in my banking information.
