The bloke introduced himself as Alan, though his thick Asian accent made it hard to catch what he was on about. He was trying to offer me 30% off my gas bill. I told him, quite politely, where he could shove that 30%, and even said he might want to go have a word with the traffic on the M25. He quickly hung up after that. Not sure why.
