Just like the earlier comment, I cut off this Asian bloke before he could say anything. Told him I don’t own a computer. This happened on 13/2/2018.

Got a phone call today from a guy with an Asian accent using the number 02088555510. He said his name was ‘Mark’ and claimed my wife’s computer was full of viruses and all sorts of rubbish. My wife wasn’t having any of it and gave him a proper telling off before hanging up. Obviously it was a scam - he was trying to get access to her laptop, no doubt.

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming he was from some PEC support team. He said my Mac was full of viruses, including trojans, and that updates for apps and software were being blocked. He wanted me to turn on my laptop. I was suspicious straight away and told him no way was he getting into my computer. He then tried to push me towards the PEC helpline website, but I couldn’t find any proof that site even exists. Definitely felt like a dodgy call.
