3 yearsI did a bunch of digging and managed to find where the landline 0208 851 7480 is actually based. Turns out the WhatsApp con artists using it are operating out of 41 Luffman Road, London SE12 9SZ. Looks like it’s some sort of scam run by folks from India. Out of the blue, I got a WhatsApp message from it, and the person wasn't in my contacts. They wrote something like, "this is the exclusive platform I promised you, but keep it quiet as spots are limited.." Along with that, there was a bit.ly link which I didn't click on because I had a gut feeling it could be some kind of virus or scam.
