The accent suggested she was British, perhaps in her thirties, and she definitely spoke at a rapid pace. Given that I have absolutely no interest in purchasing a washing machine at this time, I couldn't help but respond with: "Isn't it a bit pathetic? How do you manage to wake up each day and face yourself? Do you go home and share a laugh with your mum about scamming someone older than her? You ought to feel embarrassed for trying to deceive someone of a more mature age." Incredibly, she simply replied, "No, I don’t feel ashamed." So, in a cheeky manner, I prompted her to enlighten me further about this washing machine, and just like that, she hung up the phone.5 yearsI got a call from a really polite woman about some washing machine insurance that had apparently expired.
