I received a rather dubious phone call from an automated system, informing me that my card had been charged £500. They instructed me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel the transaction or 2 if I wished to go ahead with it. Strangely, they didn’t specify which card they were referring to or whose it was. It's quite clear this is a scam, and frankly, a rather shoddy attempt at that!
