I've been getting calls from this number for the past three days, but whenever I try to pick up, they never respond.

Had two calls today already, first one was just silence early at 8 this morning, then later around 2pm got a call from some Indian call centre saying they were from the TPS, which is weird coz I've never contacted them before.

A gentleman with an Indian accent rang me up, inquiring if I was Mrs... Upon my response of 'no', he claimed he thought he was conversing with the homeowner regarding some telephone preference numbers. I promptly informed him that he was indeed a scam artist and added his number to my blacklist on 1572.

I’ve been getting calls for what sounds like a debt collection firm for nearly two years now. They keep asking for someone who’s never even lived at this address - we’re the first people in this new place. Looks like the BT number was recycled from the previous owner, who left behind loads of angry creditors. What’s really dodgy is when they claim to be from the Telephone Preference Service and try to get me to verify my name and number. No chance. Honestly, I’d love to track them down and shove the phone where it hurts. Absolute muppets.

Got a call from some Asian guy named Nelson who claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Management Service. He was saying my account isn’t valid anymore, which is odd cos I never signed up for one anyway. I just told him nicely to buzz off.

We’ve been getting loads of spam calls lately from different numbers, so I just don't answer if I don’t know the number. This one showed up on the screen but I ignored it since it wasn’t familiar and it didn’t even leave a voicemail. When I looked up the number online, I saw that lots of other people had been called by the same one.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number earlier. The caller claimed to represent the Telephone Preference Service and asserted that he was operating under the UK consumer protection regulations. He was incredibly well-informed and insistent about his ability to halt all nuisance calls, even those coming from overseas. It was unsettling how much personal information he had, including my name and address. He informed me that my previous registration had somehow been annulled and that to re-enrol with the TPS, he needed to verify my billing details. Specifically, he requested the first six digits of my credit card! I was highly sceptical and expressed my doubts, which prompted him to tell me to relax. Eventually, I had enough and hung up. To my astonishment, he called me again, pleading not to disconnect, but naturally, I ignored him. His accent was distinctly Indian.

On 14/04/18 at 09:23, I answered the phone but didn’t say a word. The person on the other end stayed quiet and hung up after around 10 seconds.

I’ve been bombarded with calls! They managed to catch me off guard one Saturday morning, claiming they could help me cut down on unwanted calls. Strangely enough, they already seemed to know my name and address, but then they had the cheek to ask for my credit card expiration date. Luckily, I had the sense to decline and just swiftly ended the call.
