Received a dodgy call that was masquerading as BT support, claiming there were 'security concerns' with my broadband and they needed to get onto my computer. An hour later, they rang me again, but when I mentioned I'd contacted BT directly and found no issues, the caller promptly disconnected! Quite the chancer, huh?

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT saying there was a security problem with my broadband and they needed to get into my computer. She rang me again about an hour later. When I mentioned I’d spoken to BT and found out it was a scam, she just cut the call straight away.
