Received a call from the number 0208 819 5311, which sounded a bit unusual and seemed to have an overseas vibe to it. We were instructed to pop over to the post office and then give them a call back. What’s the deal with this?

I received a rather puzzling phone call from a chap who sounded Asian, claiming that we had some bank charges waiting for us-over £3,000, he said! He mentioned needing to head to an address in London to retrieve it. It struck me as a bit dodgy since we don't even have an account with the bank he referred to. Definitely a scam!

I received a call that was almost identical to a previous one. They insisted we hand over an upfront fee of £346 just to unlock a supposed £3,462. It’s thoroughly infuriating, to be honest!
