Today I got a really upsetting phone call from this number. They started making legal threats which freaked me out a lot. I asked them to send me something in writing because I wasn’t clear on the legal stuff. Then they said they couldn’t send anything because I was supposedly on a blacklist. After checking this site, I’m so glad to see it’s just a scam. Definitely avoid answering calls from this number!

Got a call from 0208 8144 1380, an automated message spoke in a weird American accent. It told me to call back or they’d “take legal action,” pretending to be from some solicitor or HMRC. Felt really dodgy and like a total scare tactic. Proper nasty way to try and frighten someone who might think it’s legit.

Got a robo call saying it was HMRC, telling me to ring a number or else I'd get in trouble. Definitely a scam.

I just hung up straight away, the robot voice wasn’t even worth paying attention to.

Beware of these con artists pretending to be from HMRC, claiming you owe £5000 and warning about court proceedings! Such tricks could easily fool elderly folks!
