I reckon it's linked to your phone charges or maybe the internet fees. Whenever they call, I just say I don't handle any bills and they usually just end the call. They also tried ringing me from a different number, something like 01224694407.

I’ve had a few calls recently from this 0208 number and others like it, but no one actually speaks when I answer. Feels like they’re just checking if the line is live, maybe to call back later with some spam. Definitely need to block these numbers.

I got this silent call and after a short while, maybe when my YouTube video was just playing and I hadn’t paused it yet, there was this faint clicking sound, probably when the system picked up noise from my side. Then, after a few more moments, the call just hung up quietly. It doesn’t really bother me but I figured some folks might find it a bit unsettling, so thought I’d mention it. Calls like this come through here about once a week.
