Got a call from someone claiming we were overpaying for our landline. When I questioned how he knew, he said he had a list from BT, but we actually use a different provider. Luckily, I’d just got one of those CPR Callblockers, so I managed to hang up and block him quick before he kept going.

Got a call from some automated voice saying my credit card was charged twice today (01/09/22) - once for Amazon (£300) and another transfer over £1,000. No mention of what bank it was. The voice told me to press 1 or 2 to either cancel or approve the payments. I’ve had a similar call like this before but that time it came from an 0203 number. This one came from a number that seems like a London local.
