I'm convinced it was the main office of KWL trying to hide behind a local Hull landline to dodge complaints. They're proper cowboy builders, these lot. We never requested a quote, yet they keep ringing us anyway. Using these telesafe numbers is just daft and really should be outlawed. The whole point is to trick people into answering, as most folks ignore blocked numbers. The trick is that you see a new number pop up, maybe hoping it’s something important like a job call, but when you pick up, you get caught out. Plus, the same number is shared around different companies. Their calls get through, you can't ring back, and they stay completely untraceable. It's a right mess.

This number just rang me, and the call was over before I could properly react. I definitely caught them spelling out "s u s p e n d e d" - they were trying to say my account was suspended. Stuff like this could seriously scare someone older, making them panic. I've finally got my Olympus Dictaphone working again, so from now on I’ll tape all my calls. Still, thinking about it, maybe chucking the landline altogether and sticking with Virgin Media might actually be the best move.

On Sunday 26th May around 1:21pm, my landline rang from this number. The caller asked me to enter a pin, 2432, to connect to my daughter’s mobile. Worried something was wrong, I punched in the code. Then the phone rang again with the exact same request, so I did it once more. Afterwards, the call just cut off. I called my daughter straight away and she said she hadn’t contacted me at all. I've been getting about 3 or 4 calls every day from an automated voice. Each time, it’s supposedly from some medical place telling random people to ring their GP about urgent test results. The phone numbers they want you to call keep changing, but they all seem to be linked to GP surgeries. The strange thing is, none of the doctors have any clue what's going on with these calls.

Got a call from this number just before 10 PM, I pressed 3 like it told me but no one picked up. Really annoyed about it.

Since I posted this, I’ve been getting loads of calls from 02087599577, 02392943753, and 02393386688. Every time it’s the same spiel about a Microsoft security code, followed by a different number each call. It’s honestly starting to annoy me a lot. Anyone know what’s best to do about this?

I got a call from this number earlier today saying I'd got a fine I needed to sort out straight away. It was quite a surprise to me and I followed the instructions to press 3 as it said on the message. After I did that, there was just silence followed by the line going dead. This really annoyed me, and if it's some kind of scam, they should be found and stopped.

Got a call from this number, turned out to be some automated voice about Blackhorse car loans or something like that.

Right after I switched up my email password, I got a call from this number. The person read out a 9-digit code, saying it was linked to my account and even mentioned my exact email info. Felt pretty suspicious to me.
