I've received a staggering eight calls from this number today, yet each time, there's been nothing but silence on the line. I'm rather keen on having a proper conversation, to be honest. In the past, with other pesky scam calls, I've taken a rather civil approach. I often share a message about how abundantly Jesus loves them, but I also mention that He holds a strong disdain for the deceitful act of making these annoying calls. I often ask, "Would you care for a deeper insight into the love of the Lord Jesus?" It's quite astounding how swiftly they seem to disconnect upon hearing that, and I find those troublesome numbers rarely reach out again.

I've been inundated with calls from this number, ringing at least ten times over the past couple of days, starting bright and early. It's beyond me why BT hasn't stepped up to the plate and done something about it. With so many complaints logged against this number, it feels like harassment at this point. If this continues, I might just have to consider switching providers!

I got another 6 calls in just 20 minutes after that. Why won’t these folks just leave us alone? People mentioned they claim to be from BT Openreach, so maybe we should report it directly to them? Just like the rest, this one’s got the same old story. They rang me claiming to represent BT Open Reach, but with that unmistakable Indian accent. At other times, they don’t even bother to respond when I pick up, just silence on the line. It’s clearly a scam-I’m not even signed up with BT anymore. I used to be, so perhaps that’s how they fetched my number? I blocked their original number, yet lo and behold, they called me the very next day from a different one: 0158668888. I'm starting to feel a bit uneasy about these persistent calls claiming to be from Microsoft, especially when it's an Asian or Indian accent on the line addressing me as 'madam'. It's concerning because I can imagine how easily some older individuals might fall prey to this sort of trickery. I tried to ring back the number after blocking my caller ID with 141, but it wasn't acknowledged. I ended up receiving four calls just yesterday, yet every time there was silence on the other side. Loads of Indian / Asian scammers pretending to be from BT Openreach saying your PC has a virus. I usually waste their time by chatting and then tell them I’m just starting up the PC, asking them to hang on. Then I pop off to make a cuppa while they’re left waiting. They’re fraudsters pretending to be BT. They use typical English names but actually work from a call centre in India with a bogus London phone number. Honestly, just let it ring out or use a call blocker if you don’t want hassle. I like to mess with them a bit to waste their time. I reckon they were trying to get remote access to nick my personal info. I told them I wasn’t at my PC and that I’d report them to the police. Then the person just said “yeah sure, liar” and cut me off. Definitely a scam, watch out. They’ve called me like 10 times today already and even called once more after I picked up.

Called 1433 numerous times, and when they eventually picked up, it was silent on the other end? What a strange experience!

Got two calls yesterday and already had three today. They never bother to leave a voicemail. Proper annoying.

When I mentioned that I'd be notifying the authorities, the woman on the other end simply dismissed me with a "Yeah, right, you're just making things up," before abruptly ending the call. They’ve decided to call me again while I'm typing this out. It's quite amusing, really, as I had logged a complaint with my phone provider, XLN, just a couple of days earlier regarding a fault on my line. I can't help but think they might have inadvertently shared my information. I also have a hunch that this lady was fishing for a way to take control of my computer if I had said I was near it. Classic scam move!

Received two calls today: the initial one claimed to be from BT Openreach, warning me about a supposed hack on my broadband connection. The second call, however, was completely silent with no one speaking on the other end. Quite odd, if you ask me!

Got a call from this number early this morning around 8.45 but when I picked up, it was dead silent and then they just ended the call.

A right nuisance, they keep calling incessantly. When I finally pick up, it's like I'm talking to myself-no one utters a word!

I’ve received two calls from this number so far, the first being at half past eight this morning. When I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

Got called four times over a couple of days. Didn’t leave a voicemail when I missed it. I picked up twice - first time they said they were with BT Openreach, the second time they claimed they wanted to fix my BT internet issue. Told them to stop calling, but they just carried on anyway.

Said they were from BT Open Reach. Hung up quick when I told them BT doesn’t hire anyone who can’t speak proper English. Pretty sure it’s one of those dodgy scam calls.

I barely let the poor bloke get a word in edgeways! He must have been utterly bewildered by the whole exchange! Seriously, do we in Britain actually engage with these silly calls? Time to put a stop to this one for good!

I reckon this is a spoofed phone number. When the answering service picked up, the caller just hung up straight away. Then when I tried ringing back using 141 to hide my number, I got the BT recorded message and tone saying the number isnt recognised. This call showed up about 10 mins after I got a call from the usual "Windows Support" lot, Asian based, with one of those dodgy “out of area” numbers. That caller hung up on me when I told them I was about to hand the phone over to a police officer standing right next to me.
