I had an encounter with this rather brash bloke who sounded like he was from Pakistan. Honestly, his manner was shockingly rude and quite off-putting. He was resorting to some rather forceful tactics during the call. He insisted he was ringing on behalf of HMRC, concerning alleged tax evasion linked to my name. He made it sound as though I’ve been dodging my tax obligations for far too long. The whole thing was wrapped up in a robotic voicemail, which instructed me to press '1'. He even had the audacity to threaten me with an arrest warrant if I failed to follow his directions. What a nerve!

Got a text saying the tax people are about to take me to court for late payments. Definitely not from HMRC though, total scam.
