I received a call earlier today regarding an issue with my broadband, as I was supposedly encountering 404 error messages. Now, if I'm not mistaken, that just means the webpage isn't reachable, rather than a fault with my router! To make matters worse, the chap on the other end got rather irate when I pointed this out. He inquired about the devices I had, yet I chose not to divulge too much information. He insisted that in order to resolve the error, I needed to connect a PC or laptop. When I mentioned that I didn't possess either and expressed my suspicions about the legitimacy of the call, he outright dismissed my concerns. I then asked for a BT engineer to be dispatched, and his response was that he would be in touch - yeah right, I’m holding my breath! 😂😂😂

I received a phone call not too long ago from a firm purporting to be from BT Openreach, stating there were issues with our broadband connection. The chap on the line enquired about the colour of the hub, and when I mentioned it was blue, he asked how many devices I had connected - I said three. When he requested that I get on my laptop to troubleshoot, I flatly refused. I asked for his contact number on two separate occasions, expressing that I would prefer to call back. Even after explaining that I was expecting an important call, he insisted I was oblivious to the supposed problems. Honestly, just cut these scammers off and hang up!

I've been getting calls from this number repeatedly over the last few weeks - it's become a right nuisance. I'm seriously contemplating cutting off my broadband connection because of it. Honestly, it’s getting to the point where I'm thoroughly fed up with the daily interruptions. When I told them to just go ahead and disconnect me, they sounded quite taken aback! They even hung up on me! Can you believe that? Twice in under an hour as well!

Received a call on the 20th of August, 2018, around half six in the evening. The person on the line disconnected without uttering a single word.

They've been knocking on our door claiming to be from BT Openreach, saying there have been numerous problems linked to my IP address - 192.165.0.125. But that’s definitely not my address! This whole saga has been going on for ages with our business, and I'm starting to think they just don’t know when to give up!
