On Wednesday the 7th of April, I got a call from this number asking about my national insurance details. I found it pretty suspicious and ended the call immediately. Felt safest not to share anything.

Got a call from someone saying £600 was spent on my debit card overseas. It was a recorded message, really sounded serious. They just ended the call after that. Definitely a bank scam. Don’t ever press any buttons when it’s a robocall like that.

Got hit by this scam earlier. I never make card payments abroad. Honestly, those doing it deserve to be lined up and shot.

Got a call from a woman using a recorded message, said £600 was taken from my debit card and sent overseas. Pretty clear scam trying to grab my bank info. Ended the call straight away.

Got a call from what looked like a UK number. The message was a recorded English voice and sounded pretty legit. But honestly, it’s a scam - just done so well that I can see how people who aren’t careful might fall for it.

I received a call from this number, and they had the audacity to leave a voicemail insisting that I provide my debit card details to settle a £100 debt! I can't help but wonder who on Earth they think they are, speaking in that robotic tone. Are you from O2 or Halifax? It’s quite perplexing, as I've had calls from the same number, but that’s another tale altogether. Honestly, what a bunch of muppets!

I've been receiving calls from yet another number, but it's the same old spiel-a pre-recorded message claiming that £600 has been spent on my card overseas, supposedly from some fraudulent source. Honestly, I'm growing increasingly tired of these pesky calls; they just won't quit. Total scam, if you ask me!

Just noticed £600 missing from my bank without doing anything! What’s going on?

Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, tried to scam me.

I got a call about a supposed £600 charge they claimed was fraud, and when I hit 2 for more details, the person on the line first said VISA but then quickly changed it to Mastercard - just like what happened with me. Strangely, they already had my SURNAME, which made it seem legit. But don’t be fooled, this is definitely a SCAM! I pretended to be a bit confused and let them talk longer so I could gather enough info to share here. Unlike normal call centres, they answer right away. They really don’t want to miss someone to cheat!

Got a robocall saying £100 was taken from my card and sent abroad. The call got cut off because my answerphone kicked in, so I missed who they said the bank was. Pretty sure it was a scam anyway.

They really ought to get caught and dealt with, exploiting elderly folks like that is just wrong.

I picked up the phone, but as soon as I did, they hung up without a word. What a strange call!

I was absolutely inundated with calls today, the 22nd of March 2021, all from a number that I couldn't recognise. In fact, I got two calls from 020 8244 0826 on the 19th - neither of which bothered to leave a voicemail. I've certainly had my fair share of pestering from 020 numbers and mobile lines that are supposedly on the Telephone Preference Service. Thankfully, the calls seem to have decreased lately, but I can't shake the feeling that this is just the calm before the storm. Is this the start of it all over again?

Purported to be from O2, yet as soon as I probed him with some straightforward inquiries regarding my account, he abruptly ended the call.
