This immediately raised my suspicions, as I haven’t owned a car in nearly eight years! The first chap said he was calling from Liverpool and even provided an address there, but then his 'supervisor' popped up with a postcode for Newcastle Upon Tyne - 44 George Street, NE47JN, if you’re interested. They both had distinctly Indian accents, yet none of their supposed information aligned with the legitimate National Accident Helpline. When I confronted them about the nature of their call, they were adamant it wasn't a scam.
