Got a call from someone claiming to be from Ee, saying my contract ended and trying to push a new deal on me. Seemed a bit dodgy, didn’t sound quite right to me.

Some bloke called claiming to be from the tax office, saying I’d be arrested for dodging taxes and that they were looking into my account. I just kept quiet and they ended the call.

This bloke kept ringing me all day, saying he was right outside my place and that no one was answering. I was at work so I got a bit worried and ended up blocking the number. But he still kept leaving loads of voicemails after that.

+44 (0)207 183 8697 keeps ringing me every day, sometimes twice a day, claiming to be Eureka Supplements. They’re pushing me to buy directly from them with some 50% discount, but it all comes across as a bit dodgy to me. Feels like a scam for sure.

Keep ringing my elderly dad nonstop trying to sell stuff and won't accept no as an answear. I've tried calling them back to make them stop but can never get through. Feels really wrong as they seem to go after older, vulnerable people just to make a fast buck.

An Asian gentleman called me today, claiming to be sending me complimentary health tablets! I urge everyone to steer clear of this; we have no idea what's really in those things! Quite bizarre, if you ask me!

A rather rude gentleman of Asian descent, who had a bit of a struggle with the English language, inquired about my elderly mother. When I informed him that she was unwell, he quickly ended the call without a second thought.

These blokes just won't leave me alone! My phone's been buzzing off the hook, and it seems they're intent on peddling some kind of natural health remedies or something. I've had approximately ten calls over the weekend alone, which is rather ridiculous. It’s quite maddening as well, seeing as I'm often in the kitchen with my hands covered in flour while attempting to whip up dinner. With a dodgy hip awaiting surgery, every time I have to rise and shuffle to the phone it's a right pain-literally! They’re truly becoming a nuisance; something's got to give!

keeps ringing my dad who’s getting on a bit nonstop

I signed up online, put in my address and got sent a free packet of "vitamin D". But when I checked the label, I noticed the ingredients were badly misspelt, so I decided not to bother. I’m not comfortable taking dodgy supplements from a company that can’t even spell right on the packaging. Pretty clear the stuff is probably cheap and rubbish quality. If they have your name and number, someone else must’ve registered using your details on their site.

I was informed that my husband might wish to have a word with him. I decided to hang up straight away!

Like others mentioned, the call was about giving out free Vitamin D supplements. They already had my details so I just said, sure, send them over and a few weeks later they arrived. Got another call from the same number just now but didn’t pick up.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, said her name was Anita. She denied doing a dodgy cold call, even though it was obvious what it was. As soon as I ended the call, she rang straight back just to "thank me for being polite."

Some bloke with a bit of an odd accent was asking for my missus by her name. I just hung up. Why do these telemarketers always ring up right about lunch? It’s so annoying!

Sent my old dad a free trial of vitamin D pills. They keep calling non stop to get him to place an order.

Beware, I've encountered a scheme where they request personal information. Just a heads-up!

02087312306 called me, some marketing woman on the line. She said she'd send a free month’s supply of some stuff I’ve never heard of. I said no a few times but she kept pushing. Eventually she just hung up on me. I reckon this number is dodgy - nothing’s really free, and I’m guessing it’d just sign you up for some ongoing payments you don’t want.

Got a bloke with an African accent, he just kept saying "hello" about six times then cut off. Then he rang me back four more times, one right after another! What’s that all about?

I got a call from someone trying to sell me Vit D pills, kept asking for my address and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Really annoying.

Kept ringing non stop. Pretty sure it’s from some sketchy place. Never share my number with any business. Without a doubt, it’s spam.

Had no clue what they were saying, sounded like an Asian language or something. When I asked who was on the line, they just hung up straight away.

The person on the phone was trying to send me some kind of health stuff and I kept saying no no no a few times before he just hung up. I reckon this is pretty risky since anyone buying that stuff might have trouble actually using it properly. I can’t stand these COLD CALLERS at all.

Got a call from an Asian woman who didn’t bother to say her name or what company she was from. She kept saying she was giving out free glucosamine tablets as some kind of nice offer. Seemed fishy, like they wanted my info for something dodgy. She called me ‘love’ a few times which felt really unprofessional and just made the whole thing worse. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a weird call, just silence on the other end. Feels dodgy.

I suspect it might have been a bit dodgy, to be honest. The fellow on the other end was quite hard to hear and seemed intent on pushing some sort of sale. I decided the best course was to just end the call.

I received a call that requested to speak to my wife by her first name. When I inquired about who was on the line, they just duplicated their previous demand. So, I decided to end the conversation.

I've been getting calls from someone calling himself Tom, and honestly, he's turning into quite the nuisance. He keeps ringing me up, trying to peddle these supplements. What’s worse, he’s getting a bit too comfortable, even calling my partner “darling.” It’s all a bit much, really!
Tom
