Got a call from a number that said they were from British Gas, telling me our appointment was off. The number they rang from was 02087277950. I had a look on my British Gas account and it still says the appointment is scheduled. So I phoned British Gas themselves and they confirmed it’s definitely still on. Feels like it could’ve been some kind of scam trying to fish for info.

We really ought to come together properly and put a stop to B Gas. The constitution should be used to take control and remove these lot from their offices. Electricity, gas, water, and even sewage services should be free for every household. What they’re charging is nothing but a tax and a scam on utilities. You could say the whole system is like a dead end. On top of that, council tax itself seems dodgy, almost like an illegal fee that ends up funding silly artists on boats, while covering the costs for dodgy councillors and troublemakers.

Today at about half past one in the afternoon, that dodgy outfit Bollocks Gas rang me again, trying to rope me into some agreement that doesn’t even exist. They’re pushing all these utility bills like some dodgy council tax scam, just like all the other rubbish linked to government mind control. What’s worse, it’s all tied up with Jimmy Savile’s mate, that geezer who dresses like a woman, ####, the so-called brothel Madam, and that Galeon fellow from Planet of the Apes. They keep calling nonstop from about 1 till 2 in the afternoon. I'm pretty sure it’s those dodgy Gas lot, collecting fuel tax for the government or something. The guy who answers sounds like the dodgy bloke called ####, the one everyone says runs a dodgy brothel, and then there’s this massive guy who sounds like he’s straight outta Planet of the Apes. Proper sketchy business.

At about 12 past noon today, I got a call from a number starting with 0333. The person claimed to be from British Gas and even knew my name. They said it was something to do with swapping meters. SCAM ALERT!! Got a call from someone claiming to be British Gas, asking if I rent here, then wanted my postcode and full name! Definitely a scam.

Someone rang me claiming they were from British Gas saying they needed to upgrade our meter. It seemed believable at first but we just had it replaced recently. The person seemed really pushy and kept insisting. Then they suddenly hung up on me.

Got a call earlier today at about 11:45 from 02087277950, I picked up and there was a voice telling me I was involved in a tax fraud case. Didn’t bother with it, just hung up straight away.

So, I got a call today around 3:03pm from 0333 202 9470. I spotted the 0333 and thought it was British Gas, but I was tied up so I just declined it. The phone went straight to voicemail. When I played it back, the number said just before the message was 0208 727 7950, but the voicemail was really odd - just a weird American-style ringing noise, no message at all. I then looked up the real British Gas number, which is 0333 202 9802. Pretty relieved I didn't pick up, but I worry my elderly mum might not be so lucky and fall for it.

Called at 9:27 this morning, strong accent and the connection was really bad. Had no clue what they were saying. We’re waiting for a call from British Gas so maybe it was them? Who can tell really?

There was a bit of a delay before the caller began speaking, which usually suggests it’s an international call. The woman on the line had an Asian accent and was aware of my name, though she only brought up British Gas after I inquired about the call. She started to discuss smart meters, but as soon as I told her I wasn't interested, she promptly replied 'Alright, thank you,' and then disconnected. Quite peculiar, really.
