I received a rather unpleasant cold call from Carphone Warehouse, a company I’ve never had any dealings with and don’t intend to either! Quite frustrating, really.

I received a call promising an upgrade for my mobile, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. When I mentioned I was with O2, they assured me that wouldn’t be an issue-though I’m actually not even with O2! They then requested my email, and I cheekily replied with youareascammer@youcanfuckoff. I couldn’t help but laugh when I reminded them that Carphone Warehouse doesn’t even partner with O2 any longer. 😂 In a rather dramatic twist, the caller became quite irate, threatening me with legal action for calling him a scammer!
