Received a dodgy phone call regarding a warranty that was allegedly up for renewal. The caller, who had a distinctly British accent, hung up sharpish the moment I mentioned, "I've already taken care of that," referring to the extended warranty I signed up for when my initial coverage lapses in a couple of years. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

A lady inquired about a cover for a washing machine. It’s the typical routine where they try to ascertain whether I actually live here or if I’m just at home. Thankfully, I had the foresight to leave a recording with whoever picked up the line, which certainly threw them off the scent!
