I got a call at 11:07 on the 5th of December from a woman’s recorded voice claiming to be from "bank security," saying there was a suspicious transaction on my account. I’ve had a couple of similar messages recently from different numbers. It’s pretty clear it’s a scam if you know what to look for, but I can imagine older or less tech-savvy folks might get worried or fall for it. I guess the whole point is to make you ring a costly number or try and steal personal info for identity theft.
